You know, this is my first post is a very long time. I was remarking the other day to a family member that the seperation between the unseen (thought I mean, don't get excited) and the seen (traffic lights, underwear, pork, Iron Ore.....etc.) is bluring due to the fact that reality, as experienced is 50% or better virtual. Television is the vicarious, radio is the vicarious, one way non-interactive god speak. Internet, Steel mill digital control panels, Pda's, mass media, hollywood This is virtual. This is the beginnings of the interface layer that will seperate us from reality like a glass wall and allow the "editing" of what we experience. The primary difference between the vicarious and the virtual is the direct responce to the experiencer, the feedback. hollywood and the mass media are virtual on the level of the group mind, the internet and its spawn are the beginning of the pure virtual, the direct interaction and individualization of the experience of reality on an individual basis.
