Why does society move so slowly that it seems to be moving backwards?

    Reasons
  1. the motion of society is unregulated and differentiated. The net result is a sum of the relative "directions" and "velocities" of the individual elements. These may be people, towns, nations or organizations.
  2. Our ability to grow is hampered by a lack of directional goals and the dissonance of efficiency created by a lack of the integration of the elements of the growth process.
  3. Economic inefficiency results in lost time. Lost time results in new processes, developments or information arriving late. Late = past.
  4. All of the individual factors result in the image of a society that is running "behind the curve", its own curve.

    Governing Dynamics
  1. Pyramid - hierarchically, growth oriented, early stage, expansive
  2. Cube - Static, Compartmentalized, 0 growth model
  3. Sphere - Transformational, unstable/metastable, hyper-growth

Population growth pattern dynamic, when modeled as a 3D geometry show the relationship (connection) between the dynamics of the population and the socioeconomic type, stage of development, and long term orientation.

POVERTY : IGNORANCE : INJUSTICE

A function of the failure of a given socioeconomic system to achieve efficiency and integration in the coordination of its members

Inventory turns = Metabolic rate
Capital Velocity = Systemic Efficiency
