TIA Systems

Holy Shit! You've got to be kidding me! I'm not sure whether to be thrilled to death, or scared shitless! Are they serious! This is either the beginning of the end or the the end. The class and level of systems that are proposed (and apparently, seriously!) are staggering in scope and sophistication. Phrases like "self-aware data" and "automated language translation" are bandied about like casual references. The implications of this are ....I don't know. The "FutureMap" project is really disturbing. They are adapting marketing prediction methodologies to the needs of social prediction. Thats fucking frightening. This could, if fully developed, be the beginnings of the matrix. But far beyond the movie in scope. The "establishment" of the 1960's could become a conscious entity. "Colossus, The Forbin Project". Perhaps someone, somewhere thought that that was a good idea. Why do I suddenly feel very stupid and out of the loop? Pyramid theory? What a joke. Their 20 years past that now!
