Business is war. Time is money. Sex is violence. The war between the sexes. In the beginning profit was had through slavery, war and the forcable taking of something from someone else. Cooperation was a temporary advantage gained to overcome, or survive the onslaught of, the enemy. The enemy was everyone that was not either, your servant, slave, or a temporary alliance. If you were the leader of a tribe, the members of the tribe were your people, "your" people. posession. Property. If not, they were enemy.
Has it changed? How is the attack, pillage, and rape of a helpless village and the taking of the treasures, food, women (servants) and children (future slaves), different from the economic shifts and market movements of our modern world? No death? No... No Violence? No... Perhaps it would be better if we could struggle and die in battle rather than the slow debt of debt, taxes and a life spent working for little more than the priviledge of continuing to work and pay debt. Is it any different than it was?
Yes, it is.
Reproduction is no longer accomplished through rape. It is rather, now, a function of mutual agreement. Perhaps, someday, in will be a function of love. The "socialization of the human race is the process of the union of the seperate parts of what, in the future of the human race (assuming that we survive) will be a single, greater being composed of individuals that are themselves, advanced enought to realize that we only have one possible future, the right one. A tadpole may believe what it choose, but in the end, it will be a frog. We are group-mind. As individuals we are a complex of differing thought-forms, ideas and potential personalities. As a race we are composed of the same. But, as of yet, the larger being that we are remains as unrealized potential. "I" am not just a complete, self sustaining individual. without others I would not exist. Converslly, if "i" am any less that a complete, self sustaining individual. I am not advanced enought to join with others. Not without reducing them.
The essence of form is recognition.
The essence of truth is realization.
