I believe that within the human mind lies massive energy. Energy in the physics sense. I believe that this energy is locked up in a kind of quantum balance and that the key to unlocking it lies in tapping into the deep core of human thought. Yoga, mystical practices, magickial ritual, dream states, Music(?!) and (oddly enough...)mental illness are keys to the path that to the center. A detailed map is needed. One that shows, clearly the path from one state to the next. This can't be investigated in the lab. It must be done. The path must be traversed by the only intrepid explorer that is available, you. Additionally, if my theories regarding group mind are correct it will require the "attendance" of two or more (where have I heard that before). The keys are useless in and of themselves without the map. Like keys to the doors of a mansion, being in the parking lot playing with the keys won't open the doors. I just need time for which I need money. My instincts tell me that one of the keys is a kind of controlled decent into insanity. Not in the sense that the "I" would become "insane" but rather that the "I" would decend into the regions of the mind that are "pre-insane". When I was very young, I had an inspiration that cancer was not really a disease but rather the distortion and misfiring of a normal function that either hasn't yet developed evolutionarily or has been "turned off". That was in the 70's. The recent discoveries concerning telomere's are intriguing. I also had another "epiphany". That being that maddness isn't a disease either. its just that people get "lost" within the mind. no map. Quantum balance. ZPE. The phenomenon of Zero Point Energy seems to suggest a vast amount of energy that is held in space/time itself. That energy is held in a kind of quantum balance, with positives and negitives holding each other in check. The mind can only be explained as a quantum phenomenon generated (in the least case scenario) by the brain, or as an independent quantum phenomenon that is vectored into the physical universe through the structure and function of the brain. Which came first Brain or Mind? Chicken or Egg?. Either way (*if you really wish to believe that "you" are an illusion of consciousness that is the incidental by-product of the function of the control mechanisim of the body feel free), There is a quantum tie-in to the phenomenon of the mind.
